MEET THE TEAM
RACHAEL MOREHOUSE
Partner & Co-Founder
With nearly two decades in documentary and broadcast journalism, Rachael has built a distinguished career as a six-time Emmy Award–winning media executive. As co-founder of Paradocs Studio, she leads development and partners with esteemed directors, talent and mission-aligned funders to shape the studio's slate.
Her work lives at the intersection of journalism, storytelling, and strategic vision. Before founding Paradocs, Rachael created and led NBC News' first in-house digital documentary unit as Executive Producer of Digital Docs, overseeing a slate of original films on the most urgent global issues - from Ukraine's stolen children to the Israel–Hamas war. In its inaugural years, the unit earned multiple Emmy nominations, an Edward R. Murrow Award, and a premiere at an Oscar-qualifying film festival.
Before NBC, Rachael spent 15 years at 60 Minutes, where her work earned six Emmy Awards and two Alfred I. duPont–Columbia Awards - the broadcast equivalent of the Pulitzer. Her portfolio includes the exclusive interview with Syria's President Assad in Damascus, the first televised account from the Navy SEAL who shot Osama bin Laden, and frontline reporting on the rise of ISIS in Iraq - where she first met Nadia Murad in a refugee camp, years before Murad received the Nobel Peace Prize.
Her reporting spans more than 15 countries, including Syria, Iraq, Russia, and Burma, across human rights, conflict, politics, and culture. Over her career she has collaborated with many of the most respected names in broadcast journalism, among them Scott Pelley, Anderson Cooper, Craig Melvin, Norah O'Donnell, Bill Whitaker, Lesley Stahl, and the late Mike Wallace.
Her vision and dedication drive our commitment to authenticity and impact, ensuring every project is infused with journalistic integrity and narrative depth.
